Unexpectedly & suddenly some challenging leadership openings have arisen in the United Kingdom. Currently these opportunities are for the posts of Leader of the Labour Party, Leader of the Liberal Democrats Party, Leader of the United Kingdom Independent Party, and Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. Further posts may become available in the near future.
Location: London, United Kingdom
Our separate clients are urgently seeking new appointees to replace recently resigned leaders with duties primarily in London but with requirements to travel extensively within the UK and possibly frequently in Europe and regularly overseas worldwide. Full administrative support will be provided by the respective organisations.
Those appointed to these posts will present with both a British and a global focus, with a mission to espouse innovative policy solutions and promote the Country’s economic stability and development. The role will involve introducing practical and actionable solutions & plans for enhancing the generation, and subsequent distribution, of capital wealth, and the establishing of environments that create jobs and improve the lives of the UK population. This will require close collaboration with influential sources in industry, finance, and public sector & social authorities.
Conviction politicians should not apply. None of these positions require previous political experience, or political knowledge of any kind, nor for that matter membership of the particular Party involved (however previous membership of a different Party with alternative ideology could be an advantage). Full training will be given and the appointee will be fully coached in presenting the official policy of the Party, which will be solely determined by anonymous think tanks, focus groups, spin doctors, special advisors, and election gurus. Neither a deep nor basic understanding of the financial sector or of actual economic policies is sought, and that indeed would be a distinct disadvantage.
These positions would suit candidates who come from privileged backgrounds, have attended Oxford or Cambridge Universities, have debating or public speaking experience, and have no direct work experience of industry or commerce (experience as interns will not be deemed as work and will not debar the candidate as having worked). Adequate exposure to such environments will be provided to the successful candidate ‘on the job’ through supervised factory, industrial, company visits, and the like. These are equal opportunity posts but candidates need to be realistic when applying.
Applicants should have excellent eyesight and be able to accurately read auto-cues from various distances. Candidates who answer questions at the interviews will not be successful, nor will those who demonstrate any deep held belief or display uncontrolled passion & enthusiasm.
Candidates should not possess characteristics of ‘successful experience’ (as failure is a positive feature in the learning experience), excessive ‘honesty & integrity’ (as this might put some colleagues at unease), or be ‘image challenged’ (as voters these days do not vote for parties but for the image of the Leader).
Successful candidates will of course be provided with Private Healthcare for themselves and their family, as this is now seen by all Parties as an essential benefit.
Those interested are not permitted to apply for a specific Leadership post as the same selection procedure will pertain to each of the available positions. The selection panel will simply allocate you a particular Leadership post to be considered for.
