We read about it, we hear about it, we see it on the television. We are aghast, disgusted, and left feeling sick and powerless at the dreadful treatment of their peoples by the tyrants of the World and their organisations’ implements of oppression!

Sometimes we find out about it historically, and are in disbelief about the cruelty of man to mankind – about the evil nature of the many perpretrators. History for example tells us about the horrific attempted extermination of the Jews by the Nazis in WW2 (by 1945 some six million, including a million kids, murdered in cold blood – the “Holocaust”) and another ten million POWs & civilians executed; the genocide carried out in Rwanda (100 day mass slaughter of half a million Tutsis by Hutus in 1994); the ethnic cleansing in the former Yugoslavia (in 1995 Bosnian Serbs killed about ten thousand men & boys, apart from the rapes & sexual assaults, tortures, beatings, robberies, and imprisonments; the oppression and twenty thousand killings in South Africa under apartheid and the killing still goes on – some 200 thousand with over 90% ‘black-on-black’; the murderous suppression of student dissenters by the Chinese in Tiananmen Square in 1989 (many 100’s or even perhaps 3 thousand killed); the ongoing military action in Syria, and destruction of his civilian population and combatants, to try to quell the Uprising – part of the so called Arab Spring (one hundred and fifty thousand dead so far, others starved by blockade, tens of thousands imprisoned & tortured, and with 10million people displaced or fleeing for their lives) by the so called but ‘unelected’ President Bashar al-Assad, ; and not to forget the previous ‘revolution’ of 2011 in Libya to oust Colonel Gaddafi (possibly fifteen thousand combatants dead or missing, and a further ten thousand civilians). Just to name some horrible events.

For instance history also sheds more light on a country that secretly planned to shut down a work area involving many thousands of workers, who would lose their livelyhoods and be unable then to support their families. What do you think then happens in that place when the workers get wind of it? Yes, predictably they stop work and demonstrate against their rulers in vast numbers – wouldn’t we all? But of course the wilful evil state authorities had deliberately precipitated that course of events, certainly weren’t going to allow it, and had well planned action to deal with the situation violently – the devious underhand master plan was of course to destroy the workers in any way they could! They were a powerful group, who had to be brought to heel, to be smashed to smithereens, made an example of – to destroy their feared organisation and similar organisations into the bargain. For a start they brought in other workers to ensure necessary work carried on until the whole workplace could be eliminated. Then they used their state forces to intimidate the impoverished workers and knock the shit out of them in all demonstrations they could – they broke their limbs and cracked their skulls willy-nilly. There was blood everywhere. Of course the authorities (as they always do), said it was the activists who weren’t very peaceful, (& loved being knocked about?) -how comes then it was the regeme forces that carried all the weapons needed for oppression?)!

The poor workers didn’t even have proper competent leaders to ensconce their cause. In the end of course the mega rich state forces won hand down by lengthy months of intimidation, bloody violence, brutality, inflicting serious injuries, and finally they ‘starved’ the workers and their families into humiliating submission. Those families, many of course with young children, subsequently have had all their lives blighted until death. Then in victory, naturally the State’s plan was enacted in full as intended – and all the workplaces were destroyed; that has always been the way of tyrants for generations – go and smash down all physical evidence of what they opposed. Some hundred thousand lost their livelihoods just as they had feared!

Did the United Nations step in, and intercede to protect human rights of these oppressed workers – not on your life! What about the Religious organisations? No, their god was busy elsewhere at the time. Did our Country prevent any of this in any way whatsoever – after all Britain prides itself on looking after strangers (and even fighting their wars)& Another big NO. So why not then? Because we were the ones that did it! It was US. Our Government were the perpetrators of this tyranny and oppression! The tools of the task – the good old British Police Force. Our so wonderful and beloved Bobbies, who walk the beat and give tourists directions and don’t carry arms (well not openly – except at airports). It is a shock to realise as a Brit that our trust in our Police is well misplaced, and that they are sometimes a lying bunch of scum (as Hillsborough demonstrated), prepared to be a violent set of thugs as bad as any that they lock up, at the behest of a Conservative Government determined to destroy Union power in the UK for solely political reasons. So we too have State Police in the UK – how sad is that? That said some of us in UK can still rely on our local cops – they are not part of the ones that have gone rotten.

It happened here! Here in the UK. It is called the ‘Miners Strike’ (1984-85 and the Tyrant in question was the ‘apparently’ beloved Margaret Thatcher (RIP) – never charged with war crimes or crimes against humanity, or anything else of course , just given a hero’s State Funeral, no less naturally.!
